The heavy door creaks open and you step through into a dark room. You are startled as the door slams shut
heavily behind you. You feel all around
but cannot find a wall or door handle or light switch or anything to
grasp. You are lost in darkness.
A stern voice comes from somewhere in the darkness, “You seek the
paintings of Ellis Wilson but you must prove that you are a true student of the
arts before I allow you to continue further.”
Before your eyes, glowing letters swirl about in the darkness and form
a riddle that floats in the darkness before you and reads “A month plus a
farmers plot equals the city where Ellis Wilson was born.”
As you read the mysterious glowing riddle, two doors appear in the
darkness. The first has a sign that
reads “Marchland” and the second a sign that reads “Mayfield.”
